Family Fun Fest 2012

The annual Family Fun Fest is on again. This event is run on the third weekend in September and in 2011 will be held on 15th and 16th September from 10am to 4pm both days. Entry to this years Family Fun Fest is free!

This years Family Fun Fest will have a carnival atmosphere with a giant slide, a jumping castle and more will be available to keep the whole family entertained. Thomas the Tank Engine and a friend will be visiting as well providing regular miniature train rides. There will also be camel rides. All rides incur additional fees. .

Another feature of this years Family Fun Fest is an art exhibition which will have an official opening on Friday 16th September. Proceeds from the sale of art works goes to Donkey Welfare With Heart. This group rescues neglected and unwanted donkeys, gives the donkeys’ medical care, food and lots of love. During the event there will be donkeys on site for you to pat and groom.

There will also be free face painting for the kids.

Steak and sausage sandwiches will be on sale at the canteen, as well as drinks, ice creams, sandwiches, sausage rolls and pies. Picnic areas are always available for the use of visitors, as are toilets and a baby change room. Toilets are also available at Pelaw Main. Dont forget to check out the souvenir shop.

Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm.
