Santa Special 2012

The Richmond Vale Railway Museum's Santa Special is an exciting event held in November every year to celebrate the joy of Christmas. In 2011 we are pleased to present this happy occasion on Sunday the 18th November. The highlight of the day is the arrival of Santa on the Santa Special at sometime around midday, upon disembarking the train he and his busy helpers will distribute balloons, lollies and activity bags to awaiting children.

The Croc Stars Reptile Show will begin at 1.30pm. Face painting and other childrens activities will be available during the day.

Guided Tours of the Richmond Main Colliery may also be available on the day depending on demand and staffing levels.

Sausage sandwiches will be on sale at the canteen, as well as drinks, ice creams, sandwiches, sausage rolls and pies. Picnic areas and wood fired BBQs are always available for the use of visitors, as are toilets and a baby change room. Dont forget to check out the souvenir shop.

Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm.
