COUNTRY MUSIC RETURNS TO RICHMOND VALE

Nov 26, 2018 by

Richmond Vale Railway Museum and Bellbird Country Music Club are collaborating to present the 2019 Country Music Muster in the grounds of the Museum.

This event follows the successful 2017 Muster which was held just a few weeks prior to the devastating Richmond Vale bushfire.

Artists from across the Hunter Region including Greg Bain, Jazmine Earl, Mackenzie Pringle, Greg and Sharon Rowland, Tracey and Bill Rowland, Rick Ferret, Bruce Forbes, Brian Stitt, Donnie Soper, Frank Gray, Bob Easter and Bob Leonard will perform during the day’s program.

“Bring a chair and a rug and sit back to enjoy some entertaining music,” said museum chairman Peter Meddows.

“We’ve got a great program planned, and can offer other attractions such as train rides to add to the day out.”

The museum’s canteen will be open, offering hot and cold drinks and snacks. Bush camping is also available from Friday to Monday at a cost of $5 per night.

The Richmond Vale Railway Museum is located at 262 Leggetts Drive Richmond Vale, approximately 4 km south of the Kurri Kurri town centre. The gates open at 10.00am, with music commencing at 11.00am.  Entry fee for this event is $10 per head.
