EASTER HOLIDAYS ARE FAST APPROACHING

The museum will be open every Sunday during April and also Saturday 10 April. A busy month for our volunteers due to the occurrence of Steamfest and Easter.

Our steam locomotive Marjorie is now scheduled for a COVID-delayed boiler inspection in the first week of the month, so our trains will be hauled by diesel locomotive X217. Hopefully Marjorie will return for the remaining weekends.

Our museum operation depends upon volunteers. Please understand that our operations may have to change due to a lack of suitably-qualified volunteers. Like many other groups in recent times, volunteer availability has been a challenge.

The recent weather has had a significant effect on our museum site. Rain has made areas of our grounds muddy and lawns soggy. We recommend that you wear suitable footwear for the conditions.

Gates open each day at 9.30am. Last train 3.00pm, site closes at 4.00pm.
